Trump: "We May Hit Pickax Very Soon"
At Friday's executive-order signing, the President was asked about Iran. He said America "may hit Pickax very soon" — and that "we know everybody that's moving at Pickax."
Pickax Mountain, Kuh-e Kolang Gaz La, sits about a mile south of Natanz. No IAEA inspector has ever been allowed inside it. Published estimates of how deep it goes range from about 100 metres to around 2,000 feet of granite — a difference of roughly six times, and the difference that decides whether it can be reached from the air at all. Analysts already rate it harder to strike than Fordow.
He said "may." No strike has been announced. His claim about knowing who is moving there is his, and is not independently established.

The reporting
Angle: he says he knows everyone moving at a site no inspector has ever been inside, and may hit a target whose depth the open record cannot agree on within a factor of six. The reel checks the RECORD, not the policy. It takes no position on the conflict.

⚠ ASR ONLY. Every word below must be re-transcribed off the audio before carding. The captions garble him at 27:26 ("if there was anything going going with pickaxe") — that is a caption artefact, not speech, and must never be quoted.
- 27:14 "Iran will not have a nuclear weapon. We've stopped them from having. We may hit pickaxe very soon"
- 27:42 "We know every everybody that's moving at pickaxe. We know everybody that's moving everywhere all over Iran. And if anything goes bad, we hit them. We hit them hard."

What the reel says
Narration as scripted and voiced.
On Thursday, the president named a mountain in Iran and said America may hit it very soon. He also said he knows everybody who is moving there
The mountain is called Pickaxe. It sits about a mile south of Natanz under a ridge in the Zagros. Iran says it is building centrifuges inside. No inspector from the Atomic Agency has ever been allowed in to check
And the open record cannot agree on how deep it goes. Some researchers put the halls about a hundred meters down. Others put them at two thousand feet under solid granite
That is a difference of six times, and it decides whether the place can be reached from the air at all. Analysts already rate it harder to hit than Fordow
So the president says he knows everyone moving at Pickax. The one thing nobody disputes is what it is called
