About RECORDx NEWS

RECORDx NEWS publishes short news films — most of them under two minutes — on one claim at a time. This site is the written record of that channel: 79 stories so far, each with the reel, the reporting as filed, the full narration, and the sources it rests on.

How a story is built

Every story starts from primary footage — a hearing, a press availability, an agency feed, a court filing — and a fact sheet where each load-bearing claim carries two independent sources. Nothing is dramatised. Footage is licensed stock or credited on screen to the outlet that shot it, one courtesy line per clip.

The narration is written before the pictures are cut, and the transcript on each page is that narration, word for word. Where a reel predates our own caption record, the transcript is taken from the published video itself. Each page says which.

Corrections

If a story here is wrong, we want it corrected at the source: the page, the reel's description, and the pinned comment. Write to news@recordx.co with the story URL and what is wrong.

Every story has a plain-Markdown twin at /story/<slug>.md, the whole archive is listed in llms.txt, and the full text of every story is in llms-full.txt. Structured data on each page marks up the article, the video and its transcript. Quote us; link back.
