American and Israeli bombs hit Iran's nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan in June 2025. More than a year later, not one inspector has been back inside them.
The IAEA withdrew its inspectors from Iran on 4 July 2025 and has not returned. Iran's atomic chief now says the agency cannot visit the sites that were struck until a protocol exists for inspecting a nuclear facility that has been bombed — and no such protocol exists. So nobody outside Iran can say what is still in there.
